When You Critique Art...
So I've been browsing around publishing companies and so far I think my first choice has to be Seven Seas Entertainment. I would say Tokyopop just because when they were a small company and just starting to print the Card Captor Sakura series in their 25 pg large booklets (and I was buying lol), they sent me some free booklets because I was unable to find some of them at my local comic book store. Oh ya... I was surprised to find a package with about 5-6 of those 25 page booklets in my mail, and for free no less... and I didn't even ask to have them sent to me. I just sent in a simple inquery letter about that specific series. (I was around 13 yrs old too at the time. >.>; Small things like that really leave a large impression, so no matter what anyone says bout them, they're still good guys in my eyes.) But ya, 7Seas because of their submission policy. I'm not sure about Tokyopop's 'Pilot' program tbh. I don't quite understand what it's truely about (are they just looking for... (more)
