Today, I represented Malaysia with a couple of friends for the language festival. Ooh, I'm great and all that but really, there's nobody else who wanted to do it. Malaysians are just not patriotic, I guess. The people who I hoped would have supported me turned me down before the question was even asked. But then again, me being a hater of mankind, I expected nothing less than that, haha. But it just made me realize how unimportant our country is to most Malaysian. People never appreciate what they have! Malaysia has a lot of issue that she needs to take care of, but compared to certain other countries, it's bearable. But then again, the greatest Malaysian trait is to complain. I spent a few hours yesterday getting pictures for the presentation. It took me forever to find a picture of Malays and Indians and Chinese together in their traditional costumes. This is using google image, you know. I was scared to look in deviant art.
